We’re introducing the new race in town: The Dirty Dash.
This race puts all others to shame.
Filthy Fun For Everyone!
The Dirty Dash proves that anyone can “play dirty.” This filthy 5K empowers couch potatoes and athletes alike to put on their running shoes. You don't have to be tough to play dirty—it's the mud run for everyone!
What to Expect
Our sloppy mud pits, slides, and foam baths are prepped for even more filthy fun than ever before. You’ll need moxie to trudge up mountains of sludge, courage to overcome obstacles, a complete lack of shame to wallow in pits of mud, and a smile to shine through that dirt-covered face of yours.
Yeah, you’ll drop a selfie.
Let this obstacle run be your new guilty pleasure. Come solo or find a few of your dirtiest, filthiest, uncouth friends to join in. Regardless, you’ll be able to look at yourself in the mirror and say, “I am a Dirty Dasher!"... and then immediately adopt a baby pig of your own.
Our mission? Anyone can “play dirty”.
This filthy 5K empowers couch potatoes and athletes alike to put on their running shoes. You don't have to be tough to play dirty; it's the mud run for everyone!
is to leave a positive impact
on all who attend our event, as well as the local environment and community.
Most locations are a 5k. Check your location's website and Facebook event page for more details.
Is there an age limit?
We welcome all ages! All kids participating in the full 5K must register as adults, and all minor participants must have their waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Children under 13 must run with a parent or guardian, and the Piglet Plunge is available for kids who want the bite-sized version of their parents’ run. The waiver can be accessed when registering for tickets, packet pick-up, and race day.
What is the Piglet Plunge?
The Piglet Plunge is for children under 12. It is a mile-long course and will take place 80 minutes after the final wave. Each child will receive a t-shirt and tattoo. Please sign a waiver for each piglet at packet pick-up or at the race. A parent or guardian must accompany participants during the entire mile.
What happens if there's bad weather?
You think a few storm clouds can stop the filth? Rain is a boon to our mud! For more critical weather concerns (tornados, flooding, etc), check your event's Facebook event page for the most up-to-date information. If the weather is deemed dangerous by the event director or local authorities, we will email you with cancellation or postponement details.
Where can I get my race packet?
Did you pay to have it shipped? You can expect your packet to arrive in the mail the week of your event. Please note that we ship all of the packets included with your original order to the address included, but if you add more registrations, you will need to purchase packet delivery at that time for the additional registrations. Didn’t pay for shipping? NO PROBLEM! You can pick it up before the event at your local packet pick-up. We’ll send you an email with all the details 1-2 weeks before your race date.
What time should I arrive?
In a perfect world, we recommend you get there about 30–45 mins before your start time. This will give you wiggle room should you encounter traffic, choose to shop at the merch tent, or stretch out before the run. If your location utilizes shuttles, you’ll want to give yourself even more time. We’ll send you an email and update our Facebook event page with details should your location require unique instructions.
What if I can't make it to packet pick-up?
Don’t stress; someone else can pick up your packet for you, they just need your (printed or digital) ticket or information with them. If you don’t have any friends willing to help out, we provide one final option: packet pick-up on race day. This last resort is not without consequences, however, as lines tend to be extra long on race day, so plan accordingly and arrive at least an hour early.
What do I wear?
That depends on what you would like to see completely filthy. We consider the Dirty Dash an excellent opportunity for atrocities of bridesmaid's past, costumes that are made more illustrative by the accompaniment of dirt, and Instagrammable team uniforms.
What do I bring?
Bring the least amount of belongings necessary so that you don’t feel weighed down, and can strictly focus on dunking yourself in mud. Necessities like phones, a waterproof phone cover case, a credit card, a towel, garbage bags to cover your car seats, and a water bottle (though we do have water stations!) are crucial. What's not advised or allowed? Pets, bikes, scooters, weapons, lighters… you know what’s good for you.
Will there be showers?
Public rinsing showers are available and devoid of heat and privacy. We recommend you plan on seat covers accordingly.
Can my family and friends come watch and cheer me on?
We love supportive cheerleaders! Our only stipulation is that they stay off the actual running course for their safety, and the safety of our runners.
Where do I park, and is there a cost?
Please check your local event's website and Facebook event page to get all details on parking. You will also receive an email 1-2 weeks before the event with further details.
Is there a bag check?
Select locations do offer a bag check. Check your Dirty Dash location's website and Facebook event page for more information. Our employees and volunteers are not responsible for babysitting purses, wallets, or a change of clothes. The best rule of thumb: if you don’t want it on your body during the run, leave it in your car or at home!
Is there ADA and handicap assistance parking?
Yes! The ADA Parking information is provided by the venue, and we recommend coming early to the venue to make sure all requirements are met.
Do you have a promo code?
Well, it must be your lucky day! When selecting your tickets, you will see a blue ‘Enter Promotional Code’ spot in the top right-hand corner. Once you click on that, you can enter your specific promo code.
Did you forget to add your promo code?
Unfortunately, we are unable to add your promo code to already purchased tickets. Once you have registered for the event, we can not add the promo code to your order, or refund the difference of the promo code. BUT, this is a great opportunity to sign a friend up using the promo code!
I lost something at the event, what can I do?
All lost items are taken to our check-in tent. If you’ve already left the venue, you can email us at email@example.com to help find any missing objects!
